another thing i spent too long on!!!

deciding the colors was super hard? kiba as red paladin was a no brainer and so was toboe as green paladin. tsume was a toss-up between blue and black because the rival thing but also personality-wise he could be black paladin?? but no one else could really have been blue like hige maybe but?? so Yeah here we are

• so toboe isnt posing as a different gender but still probably everyone thought he was a girl till he had to clarify
• darcias associated color seems to be blue so the altean color should probably not be blue in this au. therefore it is pink
• tsume is sort of the opposite in backstory compared to lance despite being the blue paladin. he doesnt have a big family but thats mostly bc he fucked up and abandoned them and is super guilty abt it and distances himself from others as a result. really though he does value the idea of trust and family but hes too afraid of being hurt, hopefully being on team voltron can teach him the True Meaning of Friendship
• alfor could be hubb?? but it makes more sense for alfor to be that old hanabito lady
• maybe jaguara is the druid?? which actually would make sense – instead of blue (black paladin) having been experimented on, its hige
• zali and cole could be shay and her brother whose name escapes me. would fit bc of higes want to help cole
• quent would probably be on the galra side? maybe thace or?? because he hates wolves but he finds out blue was one of them in canon and after meeting toboe and finding out the truth of his familys death hes all messed up about it. maybe he lets them go when they get captured. also means that blue as the black paladin still spent time with the galra
• what the heck is toboes goal?? maybe he wants to see leara and his granny again?? there are a lot more ladies in wolfs rain than in voltron and i dont know where to fit them

also
